Meet the current AB Leadership Board:

Breyonna Davis, Program Coordinator

I'm a senior Finance major and International Studies minor with a concentration in Africa. My hobbies include attempting to work out in my free time, reading, and of course Netflix. I'm also a part of the Schottland Scholars, a leadership development program through the School of Business as well as the School of Business Ambassadors. After graduation, I'll be serving with the Peace Corps in Benin as a Sustainable Agricultural Systems Extension Agent and am considering graduate school after that.

Kyle Purvis, Participant Coordinator

Kyle is a senior here at the College of Charleston, currently majoring in Communication and minoring in Sociology. He volunteers with the Center for Civic Engagement participating in services like serving food at 180Place and picking up litter for Keeping Charleston Beautiful. In previous years at the College, he was a proud buddy in the Best Buddies chapter and worked to raise money for the Charleston Miracle foundation. He enjoys exercising, binging the latest show, and spending time with friends. His love of Alternative Break stems from his desire to advocate for those who are silenced by dominant voices. After his trip to the GMHC in New York, he knew he had to become involved and grant this extraordinary experience to other active citizens!

Ben Sackler, Outreach Coordinator

Hello! My name is Ben Sackler, and I''m from Chappaqua, New York. I am a junior here at the College, with a major in Political Science and minors in Environmental Studies and Sociology. I site led with Alternative Break in the Spring of 2018, leading the trip to Narrow Ridge Earth Literacy Center in Washburn, Tennessee. I am also a Peer Facilitator on campus, the President of CofC's Outdoors Club, and a member of Chucktown Trippintones A cappella. I am passionate about sustainability, particularly in the environmental realm.
